Vintage things, buttons and lace; wallpaper sample books… junk you would not be caught dead saving…I own it.
I make my own cards for holidays and birthdays, except when I need the fabulosity that is one of a kind by Jeanette,a friend locally that showed me how she made greeting cards and I was hooked on ALTERED ART, mixed media and assemblage. Who knew my madness had a name and artistic following?

Scrap booking is my passion as is knitting, blogging; surfing the net; I like to write and want to learn to knit like a champion. I really do have a job, aside from : menu planner, chauffeur, referee, and domestic engineering.
“The Hubbs” is the hardest working man I know. He makes my life bearable and never fails to make me laugh! I love him because we are kindred spirits and we can’t wait look forward to empty nest syndrome. We enjoy each others snarky comments, a glass of wine and American Football ( GO STEELERS).
I hate doing laundry, dusting, defrosting the freezer and mopping and want to hire a maid to replace me so I can have more free time to create and blog…

We got alot in common it seems! You are lucky – I don’t even have a Ipod yet, I fee like the only perswon on the planet with out one. You are certianly braver than me – I’ve only got one kid, and i’m scared to death to add to the pack!

You asked me where I buy my supplies in the Netherlands. Well, we still have some shops (fewer and fewer the last couple of months!) and some good on-line shops here. That’s where I get my stuff.
And on the blogging in 2 languages, I have to; I have relatives in the US and a very dear friend in Portugal and their dutch isn’t very good! ;0))
