I have over 200 Cabinet card images that I save…is there anyone out there that would like access to them?  They just lay in a box and gather dust…

Just slip me a message and the type you want…men…ladies…multiple people…children ( not so many) back images…( often nicer than the photo!)

or until I have made some headway on this mess…Why is artistic endeavor so sloppy?   I take out a punch, I put it back, but once I start with paper, forget it!  INSTANT CHAOS!!!  I need the exact embellishment or color to continue…

My friend,  Jeanette and I plan to make each other their “stuff” beneficiary.  In the event something happens to me, Jeanette will take care of my “stuff”.  The Hubbs calls it junk, but this is the stuff of love.  Every button, ribbon, cork and charm has been handled lovingly and sorted accordingly.   There really is a system to the madness, I just need to get organized so I can find “stuff”.   All of my acrylics are sorted, papers from cardstock, rubbons from stickers etc.    Biggest mistake I made was taking all of my Creative Memories inventory with me from America.  Scrapbooking has changed radically in the last 5 years and my tastes are no longer driven by 12×12 albums or square pages.  I blame Greta and Cynthia for showing me what I was missing all of these years…

I cannot find my box of servettes!  I need to get some for Sharon@ Noras for the big napkin swap!  I have lots of really nice ones I have been saving and hope that non of my kids used them by accident.

I have a HP 2355 all in one and please believe me when I cay that I cannot live without it… I scan in so many documents before I destroy the hard copies so that I don’t have to have a file cabinet for paperwork.  I have ALL of our photos stored on a backup harddrive but cannot add any more in ‘ cause the scanner died.  I have been on line with HP for evah and still no resurrection.  The Hubbs think’s I should just give it last rites, but I cannot say goodby yet!  It’s only 3 years old!?  WHY  WHY!!!????  The printer still works, but the computer cannot find the software even after I added and deleted it several times…WHY!???

Before I buy something new, would everyone be kind enough to help me out with what I should consider for a replacement?   I know that the Swedish market is limited and we don’t have half the products available in the US and UK, but all advice is greatly appreciated!

I hav been working like..like…well like someone that works REAL hard, lol!  The lack of snow really put a dent in our budget so I must get on my grind and make the doughnuts (translation :  I have to pick up extra hours to make up the difference and bring in the dollars .

The twins turn 15 if they can live till the 23rd.  The little one will turn 3 the same day.  The kitchen is in a sad state of repair as I got a brilliant idea to put a curtain in front of the sink, but keep forgetting the correct size tension bar.  I cannot decide to paint or paper and should have left it alone until I made the choice…sigh.

I have committed to something arty daily, even if it is just to clean my space,  it is so cluttered, it is just not usable.  I joined a ATC swap on the bot, just to force myself to get back in the swing of things.

I have the watercolors the water crayons, the acrylics ( crappy one’s albeit…) now what do I do?  I want one of the drop dead wonderful backgrounds that I see everyone create with the bright blues, yellows and reds!!!  Where do I begin?

How does one learn to do backgrounds?   How can I become arty?, lol!

Help?!

On a brighter note, I am fighting a move to the small house in BF Egypt.  There was no snow this winter subsequently, there was no work for The Hubbs.  I am now looking for a fulltime job so that I can contribute to the income and preserve the  status to which I have grown accustomed…namely living near the airport in a small community.   For my birthday, my Bästis Kompis, Jeanette gifted me with this FABULoUS collage of none other than (my almost favorite) Swede,: Carl Von Linne’The father of Botany, Namer of plants etc…

I have hearted old uncle Kalle since I met him at Jeanettes and this is how our relationship has developed…!  There is a larger size but from the hand scripted placque to the mini herbarium, Jeanette made it all!  This was so unexpected and absolutely one of the few things that must be saved in the event of an emergency!  I love love love it!  It speaks of vintage, hand crafted, patience and the love of a best friend.   This is by far the nicest thing that anyone has ever given, let alone made me.   There are mini lockets with photos of insects and flowers, butterflies…literally something new to discover everytime that I look at it!
